This book had me at the edge of my seat! It was immediately apparent that Adams had thoroughly researched 7th century Mayan culture, and this attention to detail manifests itself subtly throughout the vivid imagery of the book. This makes for a great read for a bus ride, train ride, or any kind of ride! Fans of Central American culture, ancient and modern, will find this book enthralling.Product details

The King of Petén The King of Peten Book 1 edition by Grant C Adams Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Buy this book. Even if you are not interested in excellently written historical thrillers, you will appreciate being pulled out of your own reality and into another. And especially into one so originally treated - it is difficult these days to find one story that doesn't look like 100 others I've read...looking forward to another by this author!
